Marguerite T Harkins

Harkins, Marguerite Theresa 85 of Tamarac, FL formerly of Bellerose, NY passed away April 17, 2017.  She is predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, James; her sister Georgette, and her son in law Don Newman.  She is survived by her daughters, Kathy(John) Murdock and Jeanne Newman;2 grandchildren Janelle and Troy Murdock, sister in law Rita Harkins; nieces Maureen Harkins, Linda Hand, Patty Popp, and nephews Danny Harkins, Robert Harkins, Joe Stork and loving friends. She was a dedicated employee of Florida Medical Center for 21 years, and a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church. After retiring she traveled with her husband, enjoyed her grandchildren, and was a volunteer at University Hospital. She was also a caregiver for her sister Georgette. Visitation will be Sunday April 23, 2017 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home 371 NW 136 Avenue Sunrise, FL 33325. . A prayer service will be held at 3:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday May 2, 2017 at St. Malachy Catholic Church. Burial will follow at South Florida VA National Cemetery at 12:45 PM.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Lung Association. Arrangements by T. M.
