Mary Ann Moody

Mary Ann Moody, age 80, peacefully passed away on June 22, 2022, in her home surrounded by family.

Mary Ann was a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother, sister, wife, and friend to many.

She was born to Pauline and Tyner Kinslow on July 5, 1941, in Montezuma, Georgia.  After graduating from Moultrie High School, she moved to Plantation, Florida, where she met the love of her life, Thomas Moody, in 1959. After three beautiful years, Thomas and Mary Ann married on May 5, 1962. Together they had two children: Kara and Kristen.

Mary Ann lived a long life of success, which was centered around loved ones. From the ground up, she and Thomas built two family homes, grew a healthy family of their own, and founded an automatic door company.

Mary Ann Moody is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Thomas Moody; two daughters, Kara (Ira) Lehman, and Kristen (Martin) Jaffe; five grandchildren, Haley (Richard) Henderson, Alyssa Lehman, Cameron Jaffe, Nicholas Jaffe, and Jenna Lehman; brother, Melvin (Wilma) Kinslow; cousin, Richard Hammock, and sister-in-law, Donna Parker.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 26, 2022, 2:00 PM-6:00 PM, at T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Monday, 11:00 AM at the funeral home, and entombment immediately following at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
