El día que me fui, te escuché llorar, pero no pude consolarte ...

Perdóname hija escuché que me rogabas que me quedara ...

Escuché que te enojasrdte, escuché tu dolor ...

Perdóname por haberte  causado ese dolor tan grande.

Tuve que irme, a pesar de que no quería irme,yo te amo y siempre te amé ¿porqué me iría?

Yo también lloré, viendo como me alejaba de ti, pero entonces,miré al frente y, no te imaginas lo hermoso que es lo que vi!

Algún día lo verás, con tus propios ojos, verás el bello lugar en el que yo vivo ...

Ni tú ni yo entendemos porqué tuvimos que separarnos, he visto tus lágrimas, he visto tus noches de insomnio,

he visto como miras mis cosas y extrañas un abrazo mio, pero ¿sabes?estoy más cerca de lo que te imaginas.

Estoy feliz Lo único que me falta  para nunca dejar de estarlo, es volver a ver que tú sonríes ...

Mary Carmen Canales, 62, of Plantation, Florida, passed away with her loving family by her side, October 17, 2021. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Mary’s family moved to Peru when she was eight years old, where she spent the majority of her childhood before returning to the United States.

Mary was funny, bright, and kind.  Her life was full of traveling, fantastic adventures, and blissful happiness.  Mary’s true love was being with her family and her adoring husband, Juan José.  She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister and friend. 

Surviving Mary is her beloved husband, Juan José Castells; father, Romulo Alvarado; sister, Gloria Arteaga; and three brothers, Carlos, Oscar and Harry Alvarado. 

Her mother, Josefa Cobo de Alvarado, and sister, Chris Polydoros, preceded in her in death. 

Mary’s passing was too soon. Her angel wings were ready, but our hearts were not.
