Mary Pace Cavaliere

Mary Pace Cavaliere of Davie, FL passed away June 1, 2018.Born in Brooklyn, NY she came to South Florida in 1956. She was a teacher with  Dade County Schools, teaching in Allapatta for over 20 years.  She started as a garment worker, became a mechanical draftsman and eventually became lead designer for Lillie Rubin. She returned to school becoming a teacher eventually achieving a masters degree.  She was a lifelong learner, being dedicated to education. She is survived by her Son Dr. Joseph  Cavaliere, daughter Rosemarie Mingus, grandchildren George and David Mingus, Jr.& great grandchild Elle Grace Mingus. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM -11:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 12 Noon at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 200 N. University Drive Plantation, FL. Entombment will take place at Southern Memorial Park 15000 W.
