Mary Theresa LaFauci

Mary Theresa LaFauci, born August 22, 1933, in Palermo, Sicily, passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2025, in Plantation, Florida. She will be remembered for her profound dedication to her faith as a devoted Catholic and her cherished role as a loving Mother to her 3 sons and daughter, and Grandmother of 10 girls, and Great Grandmother of 1 boy.

Mary moved from Palermo, Sicily to the United States in 1957 and a few years later started her family,  making a permanent home in Florida, the Sunshine State. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her warmth and caring nature.

Her legacy continues through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who carry forward the values and love she instilled in them.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston, located at 371 NW 136th Ave, Sunrise, FL 33325. A Mass in her honor will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Saint Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1301 SW 136th Ave, Davie, FL 33325. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn South Cemetery and Mausoleum, situated at 2401 SW 64th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317, at 10:00 AM.

Mary's life was one of service, faith, and unfaltering love, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
