Michael Walter Kori

Michael Walter Kori, 59, died on January 15, 2020 in his home unexpectedly. Michael was on born October 3, 1960, in Tampa, Florida. He was known to his friends and family as Mike. When Mike was 15 he started working at Publix Supermarket as a bag boy, where he met his wife Debbie. They married in 1985. Michael worked for Publix Supermarket’s for forty years and was a store manager for many years, he worked at numerous different stores in both Dade and Broward Counties. He retired five years ago and spent most of his days with his dog and taking care of his home and family. Mike truly lived his life appreciating the simple things and always made his family proud. The most important thing in his life was his family. His goal in life was to make sure his family was loved and cared for.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Kori; his 3 children, Michael Kori Jr, Robert Kori, and Katherine Kori; his brother John Kori Jr. and his sisters Barbara Aden and Jeanne Beck, and countless aunts and uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his father John B. Kori and Mary Kori.

 

Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM, at T.M. Ralph Sawgrass Funeral Home, 371 NW 136th Avenue, Sunrise FL, 33325. Prayer Service will begin at 1:30 PM. Arrangements by T. M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston.
