CMSGT (Ret.) Michael W. Rehor
On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, Michael William Rehor, loving father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 78 in Sunrise, Florida. Michael was born on July 2, 1941 in Westfield, Massachusetts. He graduated from Albion High School in Michigan in 1958 and enlisted in the United States Air Force at age 17. Michael served thirty years with distinction and retired in 1989 as a Chief Master Sergeant. He then began a career with the U.S. Postal Service where he worked until his retirement. Michael was very proud of his service to our country and he and his family enjoyed all his overseas tours, where they fell in love with soccer and the English countryside.
Michael is survived by daughter Jennifer Rehor, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Vivian Rehor, three grandchildren, Brett Hilbert, Avery Hilbert, and Sara Macayle Rehor, sister and brother-in-law Kay and Ron Fisher, sister Ann Otto, and brother and sister-in-law William and Linda Rehor. Michael was preceded in death by his parents William and Bertha Rehor, and brother-in-law Richard Otto.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a short chapel service at 11:30 a.m. at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home at 7001 Northwest 4th Street, Plantation, Florida. Burial with full military honors will follow in South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida at 1:30 p.m.
His love, laughter and generosity will be deeply missed.
