She was born in Waterloo, Iowa to Harold and Leona Eick. She was a loved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. Her beloved son George preceded her in death. She is survived by her cherished grandson Jonathan, daughter in law Monica Berwig, sister Carol Hildebrandt, brothers James, Lloyd, and Wayne Eick and many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed home décor, and worked in the industry for many years using her talent installing wallpaper. Above all, her greatest joy in life was as 'Nanny" to her grandson Jonathan. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00AM until the service at 11:45 AM. A funeral service will be held at 11:45 AM with Pastor Marta Burke officiating.
