Can I make you something honey? She was always looking to serve and would not take “No” for an answer. Her most recent joy were her great grandsons Mason (The little Ham) and Oliver (little Peanut) who brought her great joy. She demonstrated a faith with a spirit of love, compassion and consolation to anyone she met and always reaching out to serve, always having a smile. Her spirit was a spirit to be admired and imitated. She will be greatly missed in this world but has left a piece of her spirit within every one of us who knew her. “Mom, you demonstrated a life of sacrifice and at times great suffering. Your heart was certainly pierced in more ways than one. When many would have collapsed, you taught us to trust in God and have faith, you prayed and told us to not worry. Because of you, we are who we are in our faith and actions, a reflection of you. You taught us to know God and to be meek and humble, compassionate and that love bears great fruit. You taught us to put others before ourselves. Your devotion to prayer is and will always be an example to follow. There are not enough riches within this world to emulate the treasure you bequeath us through your love and actions. In this short moment of time that will separate us, your smile, your laugh, your kisses, your loving words of concern for us will be forever be engraved in our hearts. God has risen up an angel back into his arms. We will miss you, No doubt, but we need only close our eyes, be still and visit you within us. Love you mom! We all Love you.
