Nancy Mae Pelletier was sent to her eternal home on April 1, 2025, in Weston FL., shortly after celebrating her 87th birthday. She was born on March 29, 1938, in Plainfield N.J. Nancy was a seventh-grade teacher at Laurel Ridge Elementary School in Decatur, GA enriching the lives of so many children she taught.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Richard “Dick” Pelletier of 43 years. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of family and friends. She is survived by her loving sons and daughter-in-law, James “Jim” Pelletier (Dana Pelletier), Michael “Mike” Pelletier, precious Granddaughters, Lauren Pelletier and Isabella Pelletier and her dear brother, Paul Dickey.
Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday sharing in the special times with her family all gathering together. Many of her treasured memories took place in the area of Hilton Head, S.C. where we will gather to celebrate her life at St. Gregory the Great Church, Bluffton, S.C.
Nancy’s legacy will carry on reminding us of the special bond we have as a family. A heartfelt thank you to her aides at The Palace Weston and the very special care she received from VITAS nurses who cared for her in her final days with us.
