Norbert “Pat” Patrick Byrne

Norbert ”Pat” Patrick Byrne, 76 years old, beloved father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15^th, 2020, in Lake Worth. He was born January 14^th, 1944 in Ohio, to Norbert Patrick Byrne, and Dorothy Elizabeth Gilfoil. He was a 1962 graduate from St. Thomas Aquinas High School, and an FAU grad with a Bachelors in History. He worked for City of Sunrise Fire Department as a Lieutenant for 27 years, and proved to be a good leader and mentor. He was a devout Catholic, and touched many lives. He enjoyed mission trips through the Christian organization Unbound, and sponsored many in need. Norbert is survived by 5 children, one granddaughter, and multiple godchildren, nieces and nephews.

Limited Visitation is planned on Monday, March 23^rd, from 10-11:30 AM at TM Ralph Plantation Funeral Home.  Family Only, Graveside service to follow at 12:30, at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, North Lauderdale, FL.
