Norbert “Pat” Patrick Byrne

January 14, 1944 — March 15, 2020

Norbert ”Pat” Patrick Byrne, 76 years old, beloved father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15th, 2020, in Lake Worth. He was born January 14th, 1944 in Ohio, to Norbert Patrick Byrne, and Dorothy Elizabeth Gilfoil. He was a 1962 graduate from St. Thomas Aquinas High School, and an FAU grad with a Bachelors in History. He worked for City of Sunrise Fire Department as a Lieutenant for 27 years, and proved to be a good leader and mentor. He was a devout Catholic, and touched many lives. He enjoyed mission trips through the Christian organization Unbound, and sponsored many in need. Norbert is survived by 5 children, one granddaughter, and multiple godchildren, nieces and nephews.

Limited Visitation is planned on Monday, March 23rd, from 10-11:30 AM at TM Ralph Plantation Funeral Home.  Family Only, Graveside service to follow at 12:30, at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, North Lauderdale, FL.
