Norma C. Wells

On September 13th, 2024, at the age of 91 surrounded by her family, Norma C. Wells quietly passed away in her home in Davie Florida. 

Norma grew up in Miami, the daughter of a fire fighter and a homemaker. In her early years, she enjoyed going to the movies and raising greyhounds with her father and uncle. She graduated from Miami Edison High School in 1951 where she met the love of her life and future husband, Alvin L. Wells, Jr. who preceded her in death in 1974. Together Norma and Alvin had 5 children.

The most important thing in Norma’s life was family. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother her family was her pride and joy. She enjoyed spending time with the ones she loved whether on vacation in North Carolina, cruising the Caribbean or just simple family gatherings at home, home was always wherever she was with her “babies”. Although Norma accomplished many things in her life, her family was most certainly what she felt was the most significant. 

Kind, gentle, loving and feisty, Norma was one of a kind. Survived by son David (Janet) Wells, daughter Ginny Wells, daughter Cathy (Roger) Robes, daughter Mary Wells and daughter Mariela Garcia. Preceded in death by son Patrick (Michele) Wells. Survived by grandson Shaun (Kristine) Wells, Sr, granddaughter Ashleigh (Michael) Raabe, granddaughter Taylor Wells, granddaughter Katelyn (Wesley) Jordan, grandson Kyle Robes and granddaughter Emily Wells. Survived by great grandson Felix Raabe, great grandson Shaun Wells, Jr., great grandson Miles Raabe, great granddaughter Kaleah Jordan and great grandson Xander Jordan. 

Services will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home at Sunrise, FL. 

The members of the Wells family wish to thank everyone for their condolences and well wishes in this difficult time. For those who knew our mother, you know how great this loss is… When our time comes, she will greet each of us with her amazing smile and beautiful blue eyes. Until we meet again… all of our love. 

Mama, Grandma, Gigi you will be missed.
