Patricia Ann Feder

Patricia (“Pat”) Ann Feder, nee Handing, age 88, born May 31, 1931, in St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully at 1:20 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2020, in her home in Davie, FL, in the presence of family. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Christine Weare (Tony), Kathleen Moreo (Jim), and Janet Miles (Jim); her step-children Steve Feder and Sister Rosel Feder; her grandchildren Jimmie Moreo (Danielle), Jason Weare (Natalia), Jennifer Walker (Tony), Richard Moreo, Natalie Moreo (Axel), Jared Weare, Sarah Miles, Rachel Miles, and Nathan Moreo; and her many great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Richard C Feder, and Robert C Feder. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all her family and many friends. In St. Louis, MO, she owned P.D.S. Pharmacy and was actively involved in the Missouri Nursing Home Association, as well as many other volunteer organizations. In Davie, FL, she was actively involved in volunteering for the Holy Cross Hospital, including in the Cardiac Rehab unit for more than 20 years, and she served as President of the Holy Cross Hospital Auxiliary Department for 4 years. She was an active volunteer leader at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, where she served as head of the gift shop, Eucharistic minister, lector, and head of the We Care ministry. She loved to play tennis and golf, enjoy the sun on the beach, and share red wine with family and friends. Her family and friends would like to dedicate a special thanks to Vassie Falconer, who was pivotal in providing direct care, aide and comfort to Pat near the end. A Catholic Mass will be held at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Parish in Plantation, FL, at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 27, 2020. A graveside service will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in St. Louis, MO, Saturday, February 29, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Those who wish to send flowers may send them to either TM Ralph Funeral Home in Plantation, FL, or to Collier Funeral Home, in St. Louis, MO.
