Patricia “Patti” Schornack, 85, of Florida, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025. She was born on February 1, 1939, in Wapato, WA to Benjamin, Jr and Cleo Clark. She married Raymond Schornack in Yakima, WA on November 7, 1959. After marrying they moved to Seattle where she continued working for AT&T for 38 years before retiring in 1993. Patti was a very special lady who touched so many people. She bravely battled Dementia for the past six years, being lovingly cared for at home by her daughter and grandson Alex Sherman of Florida. Patti was a life long member of Telephone Pioneers of America and donated her time to Junior Achievement for many years. Patti was a devoted mother, wife, Nana and friend to many. She leaves behind her daughter Paula Sherman of Florida; son Mark (wife Paige) of Washington, and her four grandchildren. Her sisters Carolyn Cole and Kathleen Kaercher and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers Darryl and Benjamin Clark. Graveside services will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery in February, exact date TBD. The family prefers donations be made to www.stjude.org or T2T.org in lieu of flowers.
