Patricia Murphy

Patricia Murphy (née Smith), aged 93, passed away on October 2nd , 2024, in Deerfield Beach, FL. Born on March 12, 1931, in Greensburg, Patricia dedicated her early years to service in the United States Navy as a nurse from 1952 to 1954, showcasing her commitment and compassion. 

Patricia was a woman of strong faith, who loved her family unconditionally. Her life was a testament to the values she held dear, and she was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew her.  

She is survived by her sister and best friend Geraldine ( Gerry ) Di Marchi of Buffalo NY , Son, Greg, and Daughter, Karen, along with Daughters-in-laws’ Donna and Clare. 

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Shannan, Nicolle, Matthew, Amanda, Gabrielle, and Austin, and her ten great-grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph (Bud) Murphy, sons Brian and Mark, and granddaughter Paige.  

Services to honor and celebrate her life will be held at T M Ralph Funeral Home, located at 7001 NW 4th St, Plantation, FL. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 14, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held the following day, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 11:00 am at Our Lady Queen of Heaven 1500 South State Road 7 North Lauderdale, Fl. 33068
