Paul Kauffmann, 65, born February 12th, 1955, passed away, August 12th, 2020. Only ten days earlier, he and his loving wife, Cecelia, celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary. After his last words to his wife, Paul took his final breath.
Paul is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cecelia; two sons, Charles and Christopher; two beloved grandchildren, Aiden and Chloe, whom he adored; two sisters, Diane and Christine, and his many nieces and nephews.
During his 20+ years with Northwest Airlines, Paul served the front lines of Hurricane relief during Andrew. He spent his later years volunteering his service on the front lines for disaster relief with “The American Red Cross” during Hurricane Katrina.
Aside from the normal dad things, like teaching his boys to ride a bike or cheering them on at a football game, Paul lived and breathed for his family until the very end.
A memorial service will be held when traveling restrictions are lifted from Covid-19, and the family is able to travel.
In lieu of flowers we ask that you send donations to “The Long Island Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation”; this cause was near and dear to his heart.
If you would really like to honor Paul, turn up some classic rock, and VOTE this November (preferably for Biden). GO METS!
