Percy Carlton Overman Jr.

Overman, Percy Carlton 88 of Plantation died July 30, 2018.  He was born in Newport News, Virginia, graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy. He served his country proudly as a naval aviator followed by a long career in the maritime industry including many years at Nelson and Associates.  He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Ballinger, son-in-law Steven and his beloved grandsons Matthew, Patrick and Liam and great grandchildren Atticus and Emory.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan C. Overman.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Private family service will be held.  In his memory donations may be made to the Jack and Jill Children’s Center, 1315 West Broward Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, Fl 33312.
