Dency was a dedicated professional, having spent 19 years working for American President Lines, before continuing his career at Crowley Liner and Logistics, where he ultimately retired as a logistics coordinator for Latin America. This role not only exemplified his expertise in the field but also highlighted his unyielding commitment and diligence.

His education laid a firm foundation for his accomplishments; he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the esteemed Ateneo de Manila University in 1967. This academic achievement reflected his thirst for knowledge and desire to engage with the world around him.

In his personal life, Dency was celebrated for his warm and comforting personality. A man who was often seen with a smile, he had an innate ability to bring joy to those around him, showcasing his funny and loving nature. The community will gather to honor Dency’s remarkable life at T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home in Plantation, Florida, for visitation on December 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass celebrating his life will take place at Saint Gregory The Great Catholic Church on December 6, 2024, at 11:30 AM, followed by interment at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 1:15 PM.
