Ralph passed away peacefully at his home in Naples, Fl. Tuesday December 12 at the age of 88. Ralph was born in North Bergen, N.J., and was the third oldest of seven boys.
Ralph is survived by his two sons, Kenny (wife Kathy), Mark (wife Elizabeth), brother John (wife Norma), grandchildren Ashlee, Cassie, Kendra, four great grandchildren, 13 nieces and nephews, sister-in-law’s, Margie, Flo, Judy, former wife Lorraine.
Ralph is preceded in death by his mother and father Mary and Ralph Pollio Sr., siblings, Anthony (wife Lillian), Louis, Joseph, Dominic and Michael.
After being drafted into the U.S. Army in 1953 toward the end of the Korean War, Ralph spent 3 years in France, Italy and Germany returning back to his home town in 1956. Ralph moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1958 then finally settling in Naples, Florida in 1968, where Ralph and his business partner Jack Harris opened The Wind in the Willows and The Mole Hole both shops selling unique gifts and stylish clothing on 3rd. street. Eventually, with Ralphs passion for art, they opened Gallery One selling fine art, painting and limited editions glass work.
Retiring in 2003, Ralph spent the majority of his time with his family and tending his beautiful garden.
Visitation will be held from 12:45 to 3pm January 20th with a service starting at 1:45pm, location, T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, 7001 N.W. 4th. Street, Plantation, Fl. 33317
