Prayer Service 7:00 PM Click HERE to view (link will be active at start time) Reina Maria Jurado de Giner “Nenena” Born: June 22, 1943 in Caracas, Venezuela Died: May 21, 2023 in Plantation, Florida, United States Reina “Nenena” passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and loved ones four weeks short of her 80th birthday. Reina was known for her kindness and unselfishness, always thinking about others first and touching the hearts of everybody that had the pleasure to meet her. She was humble and never wanted people to fuss over her. She was courageous, brave and never complained in spite of her suffering throughout her illness. She had a good sense of humor which she did not lose even towards her final moments. She was also known for her miniatures and handicrafts having participated in various exhibits throughout her life. Reina and her loving husband, Enrique, who passed away in 2015, were married for 48 years and had four children. She had a great love for her sons and daughters, sisters, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, nurses and doctors to whom she was always very close to. Reina is survived by loving children: Rocio Giner de Marine, Julio Marine; Leon Giner, Andreina Madrid de Giner; Enrique Giner; Reyna Giner de Oriol, Ricardo Oriol. her grandchildren: Cristina and Laura Marine, Antonette Giner, Leon and Rebecca Giner and Ricardo and Felix Oriol. Reina is also survived by her inseparable, loving twin sister, Lola Jurado de Serrano, and her husband Mauricio Serrano, and sisters Clement and Betty Jurado. Also survived by sisters and brother-in-law: Chary and Mila Giner and husband German Rubio. Also survived by nephews and nieces: Diana, Maria Teresa, Leon Guillermo and Nikki Alvarado; Carolina, Claudia and Carla Serrano; Maria Fernanda, Maria Veronica and Andres Frontado; German, Alejandro and Patricia Rubio; Jose Enrique, Alberto and Rossmary Soler, as well as numerous extended family and friends. We want to express our gratitude and appreciation to her doctors and nurses: Internal Medicine Dr. Mario Pereira, Nephrologist Dr. Rajdeep Gadh, Nurse practitioner Veronica Gamboa, Dialysis nurse Iris Rodriguez and all the Fresenius personnel for providing our mom loving care and comfort throughout her seven years fight with chronic kidney disease. Additionally, we want to thank Dr. Donkor and all the wonderful doctors and nurses of Westside Regional Hospital ICU unit for making our mom’s passing memorable and peaceful.
