Robin Renee Davis

Robin Renee Davis, 45, of North Lauderdale, passed away May 8, 2023.

Robin was adopted by Herbert and Joan Rick when she was five months old.  Instantly looking into her eyes as a baby, you knew she had a special light inside of her.  She became inseparable to her older brother Ryan, often watching him and his friends on the sidelines roller-skating at the roller rink.  Robin insisted that she be able to join him, but her feet were too little for roller-skates. The manager told mom to bring in her white high top baby shoes and he turned them into her very own skates. 

She was a water baby-learning to swim by the age of two, and constantly in the water.  Many of her adventures as a child with climbing trees or riding around on her ATV also led to neighbors being called for their ladders or visits to Plantation General Hospital.  Robin played basketball with the Broward Christian League.  She also took gymnastics and karate. 

Robin loved Disney.  Visiting whenever she could-eight times in 2022!  You always had fun and appreciated the parks when you visited with Robin.

She was employed as a manager with Dunkin Donuts for the last 10 years. Her personality will be remembered as being very determined, headstrong, never quitting. 

Robin is survived by her husband, Arthur Davis; son, Darin Lange; and parents, Herb and Joan Rick; brother, Ralph Rick; nephew Ryan; uncle Don; aunt, Annie Elaine Hedleston; sister-in-law, Debbie; two daughters-in-law; two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother, Ryan Rick in 2016.

Family and friends are invited to gather at T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, 2:00PM, and the memorial service will begin 3:00PM.
