Ronald Kerr

Ronald Algernon Kerr was born September 1, 1939, to Blondel and Cecilyn “Cissy” Kerr in St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica. 

Ronald was the third of seven children.  Ronald’s siblings were Billy, Douglas, Marlene, Trevor, Faye and Paul.  Ronald would meet and marry Winsome Marsh on September 18, 1965 and they would have two sons Kurt and Darren. 

Ronald and Winsome immigrated to Florida in August 1977 to pursue the American Dream.  He worked at American Express for 31 years and retired.   He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease eleven years ago. 

Ronald passed peacefully at home June 7^th with his two sons and loving wife by his side.  He will be remembered for being a wonderful man, husband, father and grandfather. 

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Winsome; two sons Kurt, Darren and daughter-in-law Susan; his three grandchildren Brandon, Shelby, Sydney; siblings Billy and his wife Cherry, Douglas and his wife, Una, Trevor, Paul and his wife, Eleanor; former sister-in-law, Margaret, and numerous nieces and nephews.
