Rose Marie Zimmerman

Rose Marie Zimmerman, died on May 31, 2018 in Plantation, FL. Born May 21, 1929, raised in Milford, CT and graduate of Milford HS, Rose is predeceased by her adoring husband of over 50 years, Orva Paul Zimmerman. Devoted mother to Joseph Scott Zimmerman (Miriam) and Fern Rose Rawls (Robert). Granddaughters Stacey Keegan (Marcus) and Amy Woodward (Eric). Grandson John Zimmerman (Kim). Two Great Granddaughters Eyla and Laurel. She retired from AT&T after 25 years. After her retirement she traveled the world with her best friend and niece, Nancy Holst. Together, the two ladies from Milford left their footprints all over the planet. She will remain in the hearts of numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors, and countless loving and supportive friends.Happy Trails, Rose! Visitation will be held at T.M. Ralph Sawgrass Funeral Home, 371 NW 136th Avenue, Sunrise, FL 33325 on Tuesday June 5, from 3 - 4 PM, with a Celebration Of Life service to follow at 4 PM.
