Born on August 8, 1934, in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, England, Sheila's journey through life was marked by her unyielding spirit, deep love for her family, and a remarkable dedication to her work.
Sheila, who held a bachelor’s degree from Barry College, served as a Judicial Assistant at the Broward County Courthouse, where she was respected and appreciated for her professionalism and warmth. Her commitment to her career was a testament to her strength and independence, qualities that inspired all who knew her.
Her personality radiated kindness. Sheila was not only well-liked but also had a way of making everyone feel special. She nurtured friendships with a genuine heart and created lasting memories filled with laughter. Her love for engaging in games of cards and dominoes with her dear friends brought joy and connection into her life. She traveled all over the world. She was an avid reader of books. Sheila found beauty in simple pleasures and built close bonds that will be cherished forever.
A beloved family member, Sheila was deeply proud of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Glen Osborn; her grandson, William Osborn; and her granddaughter, Cheyenne Osborn,and great granddaughter, Ellieana Osborn. . Sheila's love and devotion to her family were unwavering—her legacy will live on through their memories and the values she instilled in them.
Sheila was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Osborn. The loss of her son was a profound sorrow that she carried, yet her strength allowed her to move forward with grace and dignity, ever honoring his memory.
As family and friends gather to celebrate her life, they will remember not just a strong woman, but a remarkable individual whose warmth and spirit will be missed dearly. In her memory, visitation will be held on December 28, 2024, at Plantation Community Church in Plantation, Florida, from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Lauderdale Memorial Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at 11:30 AM that same day.
Sheila Anne Osborn leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and joy—a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of her family and friends.
