Shirley Jean Plyler

Shirley Jean (Lowder) Plyler of Tamarac, FL and formerly of Marion, NC passed away December 17, 2024. Shirley was born in Albemarle, NC on December 14, 1937 to Elease Butler Lowder and Robert Price (RP) Lowder. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bob (Dooney) and spouse, Howard Frank Plyler. She is survived by her daughters Cynthia Cervantes (Jorge) of Plantation, FL and Jennifer Plyler of Asheville, NC; granddaughter Victoria Cervantes and grandson Jorge Francisco Cervantes, both of Plantation, FL. There are several cousins surviving who reside in Stanly County, 

A graveside service at Stanly Garden of Memory in Albemarle, NC is planned for Saturday January 18, 2025 at 2 pm. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Samaritan's Purse (https://www.samaritanspurse.org/ ); St Jude Children’s Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/); or a charity of your choice.
