Stanley T. Sobon, Sr.

Stanley T. Sobon, Sr. “Stogie”, 84, born in Trenton, NJ, died of natural causes on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.  Born August 15, 1933 to the late Joseph Sobon, Sr. and Pauline Chmura.  He is predeceased by his brothers Joseph Jr. and Jacob, and survived by his sister Pauline Dauphers. Married September 26, 1954 to his wife Frances (Capodici) of 64 years.  Stan attended Trenton High School where he was an All-Star soccer player. He retired from Trenton Housing Authority and he and his wife relocated to Ft Lauderdale, FL, where he enjoyed fishing, the beach and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Frances (Capodici); their three children Karen Porter (Michael), Stanley Jr. (Dawn) and Donna Marie Russo (Richard); his eight grandchildren, Scott, Christina, Carly, Nicole, Michael, Elizabeth, Joseph and AnneMarie; two great grandchildren, Kayla and Justice; special niece Stacy Cruz (Joel), and several other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will follow visitation at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home.
