It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone you love and cherish. Susan Jean Cavanaugh 68 of Plantation, Florida passed away on November 28, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents, Elmer M. Cavanaugh and Irene M. Cavanaugh of Plantation, Florida. She is survived by her brothers, Larry Cavanaugh of Wilton Manors, Florida and Carl Cavanaugh and his wife Alexandra of Ridge, NY. Her nephews and niece, Jeffrey Cavanaugh and his wife Donna of San Antonio, Texas, Robert Cavanaugh of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Rebecca Cavanaugh of Lawrenceville, Georgia. Great nephews, Aidan Cavanaugh of San Antonio, Texas, Collin Cavanaugh of Coral Springs, Florida, Kevin Cavanaugh and Quinn Cavanaugh of San Antonio, Texas.
Susan was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Latrobe Hospital in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Susan worked at Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida for over thirty years. She was a resident of the Covenant Living in Plantation, Florida.
A memorial will be held at the Covenant Living Chapel on December 11, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Covenant Living, 9215 West Broward Blvd., Plantation, Florida.
