Theresa Helen McKane, age 95, of Weston, FL passed away on April 13th, 2024. She was born on January 9, 1929, to James Green and Catherine McCann Green in Philadelphia, PA. On January 31, 1948, she married the love of her life, Charles John McKane. They raised their family in Somerdale, NJ for 27 years before moving to Fort Lauderdale, FL in 1980. After Charles passed away in 1999, Theresa turned her entire attention to taking care of the rest of us.
She is survived by her daughter Theresa Walsh (John), daughter Sally Ann Henwood (Tom), son Charles McKane (Diane) and daughter Catherine Smith (Paul). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Joseph Cummings (Lara), Sara Hoffmann (Jeff), Sally Ann Majoya (Rebecca), Kristi Smith, Daniel Smith (Hayley), Ellissa Dager (Alexis), Ian McKane, Colin McKane, and nine great-grandchildren, Chase and Margaux Cummings, Roshan and Grace Hoffmann, Logan and Mia Smith and Alexsandra, Jade and Maddison Dager. She shared her love, her smile, and clean laundry with all of us.
Visitation will be held at T. M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston on Saturday, April 27th from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. A Prayer Service will be held at 4:00 P.M.
