Thomas “Tommy” McConnell 
September 24, 1970- August 14, 2021

McConnell, G. Thomas, 50, of Plantation Florida died on August 14, 2021. Among many facets, we remember Tommy as a loving husband to survived Jennifer McConnell (married Dec 9, 2000) and father to his children, Kacy and Thomas Jr. Thomas was also a cherished son to his loving father Alwyn Y. McConnell Jr .“AY” who preceded him in death, his mother Betty Jayne McConnell and  mother-in law, Eloisa; beloved younger brother to his siblings: Alwyn Y. III, Lori (Gary) Moore; and uncle to his nephews: Mason, Alwyn the IV, and Sean.  In addition to being a beloved family man, Thomas was a proud director of marketing at Rimkus Consulting Group where his expertise and leadership was highly valued. In his free time, Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family through a variety of activities such as fishing, coaching Thomas Jr.’s sports teams, and rooting for his Alma Mater, the Florida State Seminoles. Regardless of how he spent his time, he always was an illuminating presence to all those around him. Thomas’s life will long be cherished by all his family, friends, and colleagues.

 Please join us in celebrating the life of Thomas McConnell. Visitation will be Wednesday at the T.M . Ralph Plantation Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be  Thursday 11:00 AM at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
