Tom passed away peacefully on October 7th 2020 from complications of Alzheimer’s. Thomas and his loving wife Roberta (née Perotti) of 61 years have resided in Plantation, Fl for the last 29 years.
They were transplants from “Da Bronx.” He retired from the New York Telephone Company with his career spanning over 37 years from Line Installer to System Analyst. He also was a US Navy Veteran serving both in active duty and retiring from the reserves in 1989 As Master Chief Electrician’s Mate. He has been an active member of various organizations: Subvets, Television Pioneers of America’s and Knights of Columbus both in New York and Florida. (PGK, PFN, FDD and Co-Chairman of Regional New Counsel Development)
Tom was an avid sports fan rooting for the Mets and Giants then jumping ship to cheer for the Marlins, Dolphins and Florida Panthers. He also loved golf and achieved the ultimate goal, a hole in one!
He is survived by his loving wife Roberta (nee Perotti) cherished daughters Lynne Thompson, Barbara Thompson and her partner Beth, the chosen one Patricia LaPadula and her husband Anthony, grandchildren Nicholas LaPadula and his wife Victoria, Alyssa Rodriguez and her husband Leo, brother George Thompson and his wife Isabelle and loving nephews, nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer's Association
