Thomas James Treloar,Jr.

Thomas James Treloar Jr. of Sunrise went to his heavenly home March 25, 2022 after an extended illness. He passed at home surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born in Mount Lebanon PA, where he spent half his life. From there he moved to his home in Sunrise. He was proud to be a Pittsburgher and steelworker. He was an avid sports lover, but his favorite to play and watch was always baseball. He is survived by his loving wife, Georgette, who shared a wonderful life with him for 48 years. He was a fantastic father to his three girls, Jennifer Morais (Andre) of Tamarac, Kimberly Bossman (Phil) of Holly Springs, NC and Melanie Fox of Sunrise. His greatest pride were his 8 grandchildren. He took great joy in going to every one of their events. Duncan, Destiny, Jordan, Ivan, Bjorn, Cameron, Tyler and Logan all adored their Papa, And his tiniest sweetheart was his great-granddaughter Lucy. Visitation will be at TM Ralph Plantation Funeral Homes 7001 NW 4 Street Plantation, FL 33317 on Wednesday March 30 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM . Burial will be Thursday at Our Lady Queen of Heaven, North Lauderdale at 10:30 AM. Tom has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
