Wesley Loys Bourlier

Wesley Loys Bourlier died peacefully surrounded by his family in Davie, FL on Thursday, June 28th, 2018 at the age of 92. Wesley is survived by his wife of 68 years Hildegard Bourlier and is preceded in death by son Robert Bourlier and granddaughter Amanda James.  He had 4 children, 7 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. Wesley was born on October 31st, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan.  He met his wife Hildegard and married after a stint in the U.S. Navy during WW II. They lived and worked in Michigan and had three children, sons Robert Bourlier, John Bourlier and David Bourlier, until 1958 when they moved their family to North Miami, FL. Shortly thereafter, their daughter Beverly Bourlier James was born.  He worked at his own gas station and mechanic garage and then worked as an experienced tool and die maker. His last employment was his most proud achievement, working for Cordis/Johnson & Johnson where his skills were so appreciated. Wesley was an avid Miami Dolphins fan having been a season ticket holder since the team began. Wesley and Hildegard were worldwide travelers, taking dozens of cruises and traveling to Europe several times. They also bowled twice a week up until last year. Wesley was a loving, funny and humble man and a wonderful husband and father.  He will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him.Cremation arrangments by T. M.
