W.L. "Larry" Sholar

W. L. Sholar "Larry" passed away surrounded by his family on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021. Larry , a native Floridian, born in Miami, and beloved husband of Ann Sholar. They celebrated 58 years of marriage, He was a faithful and dedicated usher at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Larry had worked as a land surveyor since his early teens. After spending 36 years with Pulice Land Surveyors, he reluctantly retired in August of 2020. He loved land surveying so much, it became his favorite hobby. Larry enjoyed hiking with his daughter in Las Vegas and spending time with his family locally. Larry is survived by his wife, Ann, daughters, Stephanie DiBella, Shelley Hovaniec and Sharra Rambhai and their spouses, Jack, Douglas and Dave, grandchildren, Anthony, Brianne, Cody , Kayla, Christian and Kyle. At his funeral, Jack, Anthony and Cody DiBella, Dave, Kyle and Christian Rambhai, Douglas Hovaniec and Jim Zelnosky will loving serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday 5:00-7:00 PM at the T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 11:00 AM at St Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, N. Lauderdale, FL. In his honor, please make a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by T.M.
