Mrs. Yolande Lalanne Obituary
Mrs. Yolande Lalanne was born on November 4, 1930 in a village name St. Marc in Haiti. She was the eldest of her three (3) sisters. She unfortunately died last week Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the age of 89 years old. Her mother’s name was Mrs. Celia Antoine and her father’s name was Mr. Lecler Antoine. They are both deceased. Our mother Mrs. Yolande Lalanne survived her husband of more than 25 years who died in 1994. Mrs. Lalanne has 6 children (4 sons & 2 daughters) from which the youngest son died a few years ago. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Our mother’s way of life, her warmth, her remarkable talent to bring joy to any household is unheard of. She was very strong in her faith as a Catholic member. She utilized her faith to make the worst situation seemed less difficult and stressful. Our mother always had a love for people especially young children. She had such a strong love for children that she opened one of the greatest school in Port-au-Prince in the late 60’s throughout the early 70’s. She was able to educate the children for a great future & strong foundation. Our mother lost her life far too soon and had a lot left to accomplish. Our mother was a wonderful woman who loved life and would want us to celebrate her accomplishments today and forever.
Our mother AKA Mammy Yole was the most selfless, God fearing, loving, caring peaceful woman known in our lives. She changed so many lives for the better and brought so much peace & happiness to our family. Mammy Yole was the matriarch of our family, the leader, the one who everyone love and looked up to. She was often called when needed positive energy and prayers to lift up our spirits. In addition, she always held and kept the family together. We love you and will forever miss the love that our mother brought into this world. We are all left so hurt & broken without you. As your family we promise to honor you every day of our lives & live each day of our lives to the fullest for you. God blessed our family with a very special angel. May you and your precious soul rest in peace.
