Jack Niewoehner

August 25, 1924 — December 11, 2021

Jack Niewoehner, 97, WWII Navy Veteran of Titusville and Ft. Lauderdale, FL, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2021, surrounded by his family.

Jack rejoices in heaven with his wife of 73 years, Doris Niewoehner, son David Niewoehner, sister Mardella Harris, and many more relatives and friends. He was born in Dayton, OH and married his childhood sweetheart, Doris. A work transfer from Ohio Bell to Southern Bell brought them to Ft. Lauderdale in 1953, where he continued his 37 year career in management at Southern Bell. After retirement, Jack and Doris built their dream home on the Indian River in Titusville, FL in 1982.

He is survived by his son Rick Niewoehner, daughter Penny Mount and son-in-law Jim Mount, daughter-in-law Rossana Niewoehner, adopted daughter Trish Watson and son-in-law Tom Watson. He was a beloved Grampy of Blake (Morgan) Mount, Jaclyn (Matt) Gracie, Van Watson, Hayley (Chris) White and Great Grampy of Porter, Palmer, Bailey, Reef and Waylen. He was known as Grampy and Grandpa Jack to many more loved ones. He cherished his nephews Jerry, Dean and Mark and other loving family members and friends. Admired and loved by all, we will love you forever and ever.

Friends will be received Sunday December 19 from 2:00PM. Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 PM Arrangements by T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home
